But Growth had a bigger slip, perhaps because it’s been doing so well in weeks previous
Large Cap -2.43%, Mid Cap -2.38% and Small Cap -2.78%
For Value drops were not as dramatic
Large Cap -0.82%, Mid Cap -1.44% and Small Cap -1.36%
Both REITS and Commodities fell a bit too
Like US Growth suffered more than Value (-2.25% and -0.59%)
Emerging Markets was down the most out of our benchmarks -3.15%
And Bonds…fell too. Big surprise, right?
Actually, there was a surprising tidbit. Short-Term Corporate and TIPS were the only benchmarks up at the end of the week
BUT only by +0.01% and +0.03% respectively
It was a turbulent week for sure, possibly due to unemployment rates coming in a littler higher than expected. But the week finished off stronger than it began, perhaps due to growing hope as more and more Covid restrictions are being lifted.
Have a great weekend!
