… all equities – US and Foreign gained significantly.
US Growth stocks trounced Value stocks by nearly 1.0%. Large Growth companies retook the lead from Large Value YTD. It’s a very different story for Mid and Small-Caps where Value stocks beat their Growth cousins YTD at 21.9% and 27.4%, respectively.
US Equity REITS surged 4.2% while Foreign REITS moved up 2.7%.
Commodities tipped the scales, erasing the 15-year negative trailing return with yet another week of whopping gains – 2.7%.
For the first time in recent memory, Foreign Stocks outperformed domestic equities. Foreign Growth soared ahead 3.3%.
Value pursued behind, gaining 1.8%, but still ahead of Growth by 3.0% YTD.
Bonds were mixed with US TIPS gaining the most – up .68%. Emerging Market bonds were right behind gaining .67% All others barely bobbled to one side or the other of dead even.
The upward march of stocks continues. Have a great week!
