Last week…

The pattern changed up with all US Growth stocks surging ahead, leaving all US Value behind. US Large Growth jumped 3.5%, more than tripling US Mid and Small Growths’ advances. US Mid and Small Value both slipped -1.2%.

US Equity REITS stood still pacing Technology at 31.1% YTD and Commodities at 32.4% YTD with its YTD of 30.24%.

Foreign Growth Stocks continue to chase Foreign Value, mimicking US stocks for the week although much less dramatically. Foreign equities continue to lag US stocks by roughly half YTD. Emerging Markets gave up all and more of last week’s gains, stumbling – 2.2% on the week.

Bonds were all slightly ahead except for Foreign Bonds off by -.4%.

October certainly filled September’s ditch, reaching all-time highs on the popular benchmarks – the Dow Jones Ind., S&P 500 and Technology as we anticipated, more than recapturing the upward march of stocks posted through most of this year.

Have a great week!
