Last week…was another choppy week at sea.
US Equities continued their trend from the previous report with value outperforming growth across the board. In the US only Large, Mid & Small Value are positive YTD.
REITS, both US & Global were down again from the previous week. We have Commodities shining yet again up over 2% from the previous week showcasing a YTD return of over 4%. Will this finally be the year we see the 10 and/or 15-year trailing return move out of the red?? We sure hope so.
Once again, Foreign Equities mirrored the US with Value outperforming growth. And, same as last week, Value was up over 2.5%.
Emerging Markets was the only EQUITY asset class to end in the red in 2021, but so far, 2022 is looking better. They were up over 2.5% from the previous week bringing this asset into a positive YTD return.
Bonds seemed to have missed the memo to set a resolution for 2022 because they remain pretty boring! Foreign Bonds did move up over 1% last week bringing its YTD return positive. But the rest of bonds are down YTD.
Have a great weekend!
