Bonna Moyer joined WorthWhile Wealth Council as a part-time receptionist, coming out of retirement to return to the world of business. It didn’t take long to discover that her past experience as a long-time Executive Assistant was going to work out well for her at WWC. She has extended those part-time hours to increase her duties to Client Care Specialist and Executive Assistant to our CEO and COO.
Bonna was born and raised near Pittsburgh, PA and is a graduate of Thiel College in Greenville, PA – year not to be disclosed – with a BA Degree in Business Education. Her career began as a high school teacher of business courses, but upon moving to California, she landed an Executive Assistant position in the banking arena. Over her many years in the business world, her niche has always been in that personal assistant role.
After living in Pennsylvania, California, and Florida, Bonna and her husband decided that they wanted to live in the mountains. Through the advice of a friend, they explored many areas in Northeast Tennessee! They both agreed that they were in love with Johnson City! So, in 2005, they moved here and settled in Gray, TN. Unfortunately, three years after relocating, her husband passed away. But that didn’t change her desire to stay right here in the mountains, so 15 years after coming to Tennessee, she is a “semi-native”!
Bonna has always lived in Gray since landing in Tennessee. Right now, she shares her apartment with, Mamie, a 16-year old Calico cat, and Angel, a 2-year old ShihTzu, both rescued from shelters. She has three wonderful and supportive stepchildren, seven grandchildren, and one great-grandchild. Her passions are church work, family and friends, animals, cooking, and reading.
