US Growth companies went up while Value went down from the previous week. Mid companies did the best overall.
Mid Growth was up over 2%
Mid Value slipped less than Large and Small
If you reference the above graph, you can see that Mid Growth and Small Growth companies are neck and neck with their YTD returns.
With a gain of over 4% from the previous week, US REITS hit a milestone. They now show a YTD return of over 30%!
Foreign equities had a positive week, all gaining more than 2%. Foreign’s hanging right in there with US Equities for YTD returns.
Emerging Markets are all over the place! Last week they gained 4.1% which is interesting because this is the 3rd week in a row Emerging Markets have moved 4.1% either direction
Each week we’re baffled by bonds. Baffled because we don’t know what to say. They’re so boring we feel like a broken record. Last week was no different. We had upward movement for all except TIPS, but nothing moved more than 1%.
Have a great weekend!
